needed to migrate to new hosting immediately. Having had trouble
finding a company with expertise in or willing to support their legacy content
management software (CMS). While we had no prior experience with the platform,
we were able to quickly gain an understanding of the CMS, perform some initial upgrades, and migrate to a new shared
hosting vendor.
Recently, we were given the opportunity to migrate the site's content into a new CMS that is actively supported. With plans for future integrations to other systems and a highly-customized checkout process, we identified Craft CMS + Craft Commerce as the best tools in our toolkit. A new site was launched, and all their existing content and available tours (over 250) were migrated from the old site, freeing the client up to focus on continuing to add tours. Since launch, the site has facilitated nearly $1.4 million in revenue.
