Billing & Collections

Projects approximated $2000 or more are billed weekly through the completion of the project. All maintenance and support (whether by plan or hourly) or projects estimated below $2000 are invoiced monthly. All invoices are due upon receipt and must be paid with check or online via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express). Credit card payments are assessed a 3% processing fee (check payments are preferred and are not assessed any processing fees). Active projects more than seven (7) days in arrears will be suspended until receipt of payment in full. Any account with an outstanding balance of more than 30 days in arrears is subject to a 5% finance charge per month on the total outstanding balance. Any account 90 days or more in arrears will be subject to collections.

All consulting and development fees are non-refundable. Any expenses incurred as a result of a project, including but not limited to software and/or template licensing, personnel wages, or contractor production fees, are non-refundable. Projects are performed on a time and materials basis in accordance with the approximation. Ping Enterprises LLC (dba Sol Minion Development) is not responsible for factors outside our control that impact the final cost.

Weekly invoices are sent each Monday morning for the work performed in the previous seven (7) days. Monthly invoices are sent on the last Monday of each month. All invoices are due upon receipt.

Project Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of a project by Client, a cancellation fee for work completed and expenses already incurred shall be paid by Client. Cancellation fee is based on the total number of man-hours completed on the project at the time of cancellation. A 100% cancellation fee is due once the project has been finished, whether utilized by Client or not. Client agrees to pay no less than 100% of the work already finished and/or billed for the project at the time of cancellation. All amounts paid to Developer are non-refundable. Amounts that have been paid to Developer before the cancellation of a project and the percentage completion of this project does not cover for, will be transformed into a credit note which Client can use in future projects.

Warranty

All custom development is warrantied as outlined in the signed proposal/contract. In the absence of any explicit warranty in the signed proposal, any bugs or fixes may be addressed within ten (10) business days of the date of the task's completion at the in-scope hourly rate.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of this project by Client, a cancellation fee for work completed and expenses already incurred shall be paid by Client. The cancellation fee is based on the percentage completion of the entire project at the time of cancellation. A 100% cancellation fee is due once the project has been finished, whether utilized by Client or not. Client agrees to pay no less than 100% of the work already finished and/or billed for the project at the time of cancellation. All amounts paid to Developer are non-refundable. Amounts that have been paid to Developer before the cancellation of a project and the percentage completion of this project does not cover for, will be transformed into a credit note which Client can use in future projects.

Rush Work / Emergency Consultation

From time to time, a Client may request work be completed without adequate time to complete the project to our high standard of quality. These are considered Rush Jobs. Rush Jobs will be completed by a reasonable deadline requested by Client and billed at a 100% premium charge. All resulting work is provided with no warranty period. Any additional, related work necessary to address production fixes and/or patches will be subject to the same 100% premium charge.
