The Moth

The Moth's mission is to promote the art and craft of storytelling and to honor and celebrate the diversity and commonality of human experience. We were introduced to this amazing organization while attending a ClimaTech event with other technologists. Our expertise with Craft CMS came up during a discussion with another studio. They had a client currently on a legacy version of Craft that needed some support until an upgrade could be planned. We have since started working with the team to help manage enhancements to their site.

United Staffing Associates

United Staffing Associates

Sol Minion Development has managed the security of the United Staffing Associates' Web site since 2015 when we first completed and launched it. The site was later refreshed in 2017 and, as the threat landscape changed and cybersecurity became increasingly important, we proposed taking a more proactive stance to better protect the site. We also educated their marketing and infrastructure team about the data being collected, implemented a seamless migration to additional security measures, and educated them on protecting their data and what to look out for with regards to compliance.

In 2022, we migrated their content management software to Craft CMS to maintain compliance and update the underlying technology used to manage their Web presence.

Maranatha Tours

Maranatha Tours

Maranatha Tours needed to migrate to new hosting immediately. Having had trouble finding a company with expertise in or willing to support their legacy content management software (CMS). While we had no prior experience with the platform, we were able to quickly gain an understanding of the CMS, perform some initial upgrades, and migrate to a new shared hosting vendor.

Recently, we were given the opportunity to migrate the site's content into a new CMS that is actively supported. With plans for future integrations to other systems and a highly-customized checkout process, we identified Craft CMS + Craft Commerce as the best tools in our toolkit. A new site was launched, and all their existing content and available tours (over 250) were migrated from the old site, freeing the client up to focus on continuing to add tours. Since launch, the site has facilitated nearly $1.4 million in revenue.
